  1. You know you drive a lupo when, you pull up next to a new fox and feel more superior.....
  2. Well, its not that bad, Thanks very much with your help
  3. A few weeks again there was an orange one on ebay, and it looked awesome ! It was a shame it didnt have the engine i wanted
  4. When you Say its fuel comsumption isnt very good on motorways, how bad is it? Because i go up and down the motorway twice a week, and id say my car gets a fair run, going round town, motorway and country roads, and i average around 58MPG.
  5. I suppose it could do with a little less power, its not all about speed i just love the look of them, and the extra ride height comes in handy for the winter ice ages we appear to be getting in england now, my lupo seems to be doubling up as a snow plough :/ Cheers for the advice
  6. Thanks for the reply, Can the clutch cope with the extra power?
  7. Well, i fancy trading the old loop for something a bit newer, and i wanted something a bit different something like the polo dune, but after much research about the 1.4TDI its infact more detuned than the lupo, producing 70bhp rather than 75bhp, it also has lot less torque and is slower, i also noticed the same on newer polos with the 1.4TDI engine, why have vw desided to make a great diesel engine into something less great? Can you notice the difference between the two engines performances? Any answers would be much appreciated
  8. I think i was charged around £106 for a manual door key by VW, i must admit i felt pretty ill after paying that much for it :/ and because they had reset the computer they had turned on my service light, was not amused. Although the the manual key does come with an inbuilt torch, which i must admit is pretty cool
  9. I bought mine off ebay, for £3300 with 48000 on the clock 52reg. Although it was due a full service and cambelt and the passengers electric window didnt work, there was also some dents on the passenger door.
  10. Well im going to try the zaino, and some autoglym products, and i will post feedback next weekend after ive spent a day doing it, and i'll let you know if it worked, i really hope it does
  11. I dont clean the car with it, i dont have the guts, niether have i taken a lump of tar nor graffitied the paint work, but honestly it is really really good, and it smells good! And you cant beat it as a glass cleaner niether, i cannot praise it enough
  12. Cheers for the the advice guys! Well, i think the best way will be buying a buffer, and trying the SRP first. I have used SRP before, and it normally does a very good job, but i still think it lacks something :/ maybe im just a perfectionist. The best polish i have found up to now (ive used meguiars, P21S etc) is Showroom shine that i bought off ideal world (yes i was shocked aswell), and it makes a fantastic shine but it doesnt remove the swirls. I must admit since getting the car and polishing it nearly every weekend (that sounds rather anal) the car gradually starts to look better
