  1. FYI I have have had the OEM single slot CD player working fine, with a Beta Head unit and I can't see any reason as to why the OEM 6 CD changer cannot be used with the same unit (I have fitted both to the 3 lupos that I have had)
  2. New light is £5, clips in dead easy style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  3. Just added this event to the main Forum to capture some more punters style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  4. Right then, even if it is a 1 Lupo meet, I will be at the Gaydon Centre on the 5th of October.... I will cobble together a plan for the day (and yes it will involve a pub!!!!!) and post it to the site style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  5. P.S. I have just gone to the Heritage web site and guess what is happening on the 5th of October at the Centre...... IT'S A MINI DAY......... Plenty of opportunity to go "Cooper bashing"  Hertiage events
  6. Just read through the whole of the `e-mail` trail here.....Pheewwww!!!!...... As a result I hope this "fits the bill" and is one for a vote How about the Heritage centre at Gaydon (Junction 12 of the M40) The roads around the area look pretty sweet  and there is a Country Park nearby with great views and an excellent opportunity for piccies!!!! Looking for the weekend of the the 27th of September (or alternatively the 3 of October) MattyB (or anyone else who knows) can you sort out a vote thingy for people to register their preference? style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  7. Apologies if people know this, but you can reset the one touch windows by, first locking the drivers door with the key and holding it for 3 seconds, then unlock the car, and hold the key in that position until all the windows drop. Once you have these the windows can be closed on the one touch from the switches inside
  8. Another possibility? Easy Track Thinking of: Saturday 04 October 2003 - BRUNTINGTHORPE - £99 This will give everyone the opportunity to save pennies for the day. What do you think?
  9. As a Factory fit option the current price is £395, and is not an option for the Lupo (I have no idea why!!!!). If you buy the Changer from a VW dealer, it is definitely cheaper style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  10. The service indicator can be reset manually (check your Lupo manual for the details)
  11. I too have the CD 6 in dash changer (also in my Raven Blue GTI!!!) Couple of points: Removing the existing "tray" is a bit tricking but if you pull it hard to one side it should "pop out" When you have connected the wiring loom, the wires need to be pushed in to the space at the side of the units and the dash, so that the radio can slot in nicely I bought mine from a VW retailer for about £300 (I was cheeky and managed a discount!!!)
  12. After much knuckle scrapping, I discovered that the wires tuck into the dashboard, on the left and right....NOT behind the radio and Changer.......DOH!
  13. I paid £300 for the CD changer for "being cheeky, by offering my old one as a trade in"!! I'm not complaining!!!
  14. ME!!!! ME!!!! ME!!!...count me in!!! Then I can then kick all your bums at the sprint test style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />.....I have you know I am a seasoned Pro now I have done the GTI International sprint...... O ******, who am I kidding, I'm going to get stomped on!!! ???
  15. There is no alternative, it has to be an `X-box`. Besides the black matches my car style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
