It's the 1.0 AUC engine. Have intermittant flashing oil light for 3 years now and doing my head in with the beeping. Already changed the oil pressure switch for an oem one and slightly thicker oil. I would like to avoid taking the sump off to clear the pickup/buy a new one but at wits end with what else it could be

Easy to fit, just remove the bolt, then the two on the door and remove the lower door guard and retrieve. Cannot confirm if theres a left and right, doubtful though
-
From my understand it's all fairly straight forward until you get to the two by the flywheel area. For those two, you can "turn" the flywheel as it has two notches in it to make the job easier. My question is, how do you turn the flywheel so they line up? :/

I think this is by design (stupid if so) When I have the main beam on, drive on a country lane and put my full beam on, the mains turn off, resulting in quite poor visibility to be honest. If my mains are on and I flash the full they all stay on. So what I end up doing is holding the stalk in such a way I get both main and full. Is it working how it should be or buggered? My passat, both stay on but I've got h7 bulbs

Gonna risk a halfrauds ones as cannot get to a ECP or GSF for a while now, doh. Was looking a the HB063 and the HCB063. The calclium one is more expensive but not sure that's maintenance free?
-
Did you replace it with something new, or equally as old?
-
Plugs: NGK Leads: OEM or very good quality, cheap ones tend to not last long! You may need a new coolant temperature sensor, only a couple of quid, but you will need new G13 coolant and a new o0ring for the sensor As when you remove it, if your ninja like you can put the new one back in, but best to let it drain out and put new coolant in. It's not a thorough drain but good enough.

Would a Bosch s4 063 be alright? Misses woke me up saying the car is dead, it died once when I was doing work on her car and forgot the ignition was left on for many hours. Charged it up and it was fine but now it's dead it's gotta go. Battery seams reasonable at £50 sommit, but will it fit and be good?

http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/141395618328 Cheaper and I could imagine you'll laugh more using it then paying high amounts to retrofit

10k miles in a 1.0 omg, I think pouring vinegar into my eye of jap would be far more enjoyable! Best of luck though I was going to do a rally in a bmw e34 2.5i but finding the correct insurance would leave us out of pocket instead of the charities -
Poor gti doesn't have his own space. I do strangely like those big polos

Should be dim blue to crystal white. Yellowing is more like shagged bulb or ballast

I'll take a picture of my setup tomoz. Don't really need a guard as our dog, starts snoring pretty quickly. Must admit I've whipped it round a corner few times as I forget he's in their
