  1. I have the same problem you just need to replace the o2 sensors, there's one before and after that cat, so it's best to replace both.
  2. Misfiring could also be due to the lambda/o2 sensors, as that can make the car stutter at low revs or in idle. But that would show up on the diagnostics normally.
  3. No my mk6 golf stereo is not a sat nav here's a pic of it, i really love it. It looks sleek, its oem and it is much better than the crap that was already in there...
  4. Thanks the stereo came today, so i'm going to start having a play around in the dash today. The way I see it, some of the dashboards at USC were customised to fit ipads in them flush, so this stereo isn't any different. Yes the wiring might be difficult, but there are always ways round things. (I hope)
  5. I'll post pics up when it's done, I'm taking the centre console out to have it sprayed so at the same time, i'm going to customise it to fit and my boyfriend who is an electrician is going to set up the wiring, he has seen the diagram of the back of the rcd 310 and thinks it's possible to wire it up. I think it's all about taking these risks and trying new things... Thanks for the advice people.
  6. No i paid £41 quid for it and I like the look of it, much better than the **** i have got in my dash at the moment lol which is a no make crappy thing. My boyfriend is an electrician so he said he could wire it up for me no problems, but even if it doesn't work or whatever i'll just sell it, after all i only paid £41 and they're easily selling for £200... Thanks Mike for your honest answer though, I appreciate your advice, I just can't resist a bargain LOL
  7. has anyone actually tried to fit one though in a lupo? If not I may be the first, i might have to customise the dash but i know people who can do that.
  8. I've basically just bought one and want to install it into the lupo...I've heard it won't work or fit... Could I bodge it to get it to work and make it fit lol. Any advice? Thanks. P.s if i can't get it work then i'll have to re-sell it but I got it at a bargain price so not a major error.

  10. Haha yes along with a selection of bags and accessories... oh and the massive tanning booth that folds out, just incase i need an emergency spray tan...LOL
  11. this may be a real blonde thing to say but are you on about the inlet manifold?
  12. Here is a picture of my boyfriends catch tank it's probably different to the one i need for the lupo as this is for his octavia RS but where do all the tubes go??
  13. So basically if i get a catch tank i have the breather going in then the tube that comes off the catch tank should be fed back into the inlet?? So that way the oil gets burnt up and it doesnt leak? Will any of this affect my performance...ie make it quicker? Could I not just extend the pipe and feed it back into the filter like BEP51 did? Im going to get my boyfriend to read this thread aswell as I'm not completely in the know when it comes to car engines (plus he'll be the one doing the work LOL)
  14. I have climate control...it's called electric windows...haha...jealous much!!
