  1. Not to undermine Wes's knowledge of lupos as I'm new here too but i'm fairly mechanically minded but if your not dont worry too much I think reverse synchros in alot of cars are a bit iffy I've had multiple cars where you have to rev it a little or select reverse a few times even my impreza some times will only select reverse with a crunch especially when cold, and I know the train in that car is all true. But also as Wes Says more specific details will help people on the forum diagnose the problem could just be you need to do a oil change/top up on your box or one of the issues mentioned before. ^

  2. EGR delete will be in the map, no need to blank anything. Dump valves do nothing on a diesel apart from make the engine fart like a bus and waste boost. Fit a boost gauge capable of more than 2 bar and also look into fitting and remapping for a 3 bar map sensor. Edit: and get a 2.5" or 3" exhaust made up too. @ Derv, Mine was mapped very conservative on the torque side probably to preserve gearbox etc @ 187 ib ft. I doubt it has shifted far from that.

  3. Fair comment, and to be honest I've had all these problems in only 1 car an Arosa Sport so probably unfair to tar the lot with all of these issues; but a stiff clutch can lead to a broken pedal box and in tandem to gear selection issues, a cascade effect

  4. You need to tell us the model and the mileage there are few things it could be, all fairly common issues, pedal box, clutch release bearing, gear selectors, failing gearboxes. That list sounds quite bad but these are really the only things that do go wrong on a Lupo/Arosa
